THE PEN IS STILL IN YOUR HAND
THE PEN IS STILL IN YOUR HAND Your Future Is Not Already Written—Every
Choice, Habit and Action Is Another Line You Add to It. At around 3:00 AM, Dr.
Abhishek Gilara sat before a blank page, preparing to write five pages of Ram
Naam. The notebook was ready. The pen was beside it. And one simple question
changed the way he looked at the future: Who decides what will appear on this
blank page? The answer seemed obvious. The hand holding the pen. But then came
the deeper realisation. That morning itself had been prepared by actions performed
earlier. The notebook had been placed there the previous night. The 2:30 AM
waking habit had been built through years of repetition. The desire to write Ram
Naam had grown from spiritual teachings heard much earlier. And when the practice
became irregular, ordinary conversations with his aunts and sisters unexpectedly
reminded him to return. The past kept meeting the present.
And the present kept writing something for the future. From that small early-morning observation emerged a profound
exploration of karma, sankalpa, samskara, abhyasa, environment, satsanga, Purushartha, dharma, physical strength, mental
discipline, Bhakti and surrender. This is not a book claiming that you control everything that happens to you. You don’t. It
offers something more grounded—and perhaps more powerful: You may not own every result, but you remain responsible
for the next meaningful action available to you. Your habits are writing. Your health choices are writing. Your relationships
are writing. Your environment is writing. Your discipline is writing. Your postponements are writing. Your character is
writing. Your karma is writing. And one day, your future self will have to read what today’s version of you wrote. So ask
yourself: What are you sending forward? A stronger body or a neglected one? A clearer mind or a distracted one? Knowledge
or stagnation? Trust or damaged relationships? A strengthened legacy or unfinished problems? Clean karma or convenient
shortcuts? And above all— are you becoming a person capable of carrying the future you keep asking for? You cannot
rewrite yesterday. You cannot command every outcome. But while meaningful action remains possible, there is still another
line available. Your past has written until this moment. Your next karma begins now. The page is waiting. THE PEN IS
STILL IN YOUR HAND.
