THE LOUD SILENCE IS MAKING ME SLEEPY part-2
THE LOUD SILENCE IS MAKING ME SLEEPY When the Noise
Outside Became Quiet, the Voice Inside Became Loud. “We met
yesterday. Why are you back?” Silence replied: “Because I loved
talking to you. And I still have a lot to say.” On the second night,
Silence returned. Only this time, she was louder. Strangely, the
louder she became, the sleepier I felt. How could that be? The
world’s loudness keeps us awake. A horn. A phone. An argument. A
worry.
An unfinished task. A mind refusing to stop. Yet this loudness was different. It was not disturbing
me. It was settling me. Then Silence revealed something: “You call me Silence. But I am your
Soul.” I asked: “Where were you for forty-eight years?” She replied: “Right inside you.” “Then
why did I never hear you?” Perhaps because Silence had never stopped speaking. I had simply
never become quiet enough to listen. The Loud Silence Is Making Me Sleepy is a deeply personal
conversation about karma, attention, self-awareness, habit, control, surrender, rhythm, rest and the
inner world we often overlook while building the outer one. It asks a simple but uncomfortable
question: What if the voice you have been searching for has been speaking from within you all
along? Do your karma. Control what you can. Keep your inner sun burning. Use the pen while it
remains in your hand. When genuine control ends, surrender. And once in a while—put the pen
down. Become quiet. Listen. Because perhaps Silence does not need to learn how to speak. We
need to learn how to hear.
