We take holidays. And there are all kinds—adventure holidays, family getaways, luxury breaks. But for the first time, at the age of 46, I chose something different—a wellness holiday.
Unlike other holidays where you relax or explore, here, you begin by meeting a doctor. They diagnose your entire body, assess your current health, and then design a set of massage therapies, detox plans, and diets tailored just for you. During my checkup, something unexpected happened—they found my biological age to be just 25.
They told me my diet and routine were already aligned beautifully—nothing more was required on that front. But I realised something deeper: even when you’re doing well, there’s always more to learn. I discovered deeper insights into the simple act of breathing—how to inhale and exhale consciously through different yogic practices. These weren’t just techniques—they were tools for healing, clarity, and long life.
What struck me most during this time was that wellness isn’t a destination—it’s a discipline. And no matter how fit or healthy you are, taking time out to pause, learn, and refine your lifestyle is a necessity, not a luxury. We upgrade our phones—why not our minds and bodies?
This holiday reminded me that life is short, and there’s so much more in this world to experience, master, and grow through. So I say to you: Take that wellness holiday. Learn something new. Deepen your breath. Strengthen your spirit. Because true health isn’t just about looking young—it’s about feeling alive.
Keep learning. Keep growing. The best investment you’ll ever make is in yourself.
