A few days ago, I began a simple yet transformative habit—reading The Bhagavad Gita, the sacred scripture of our Sanatan Dharma, during my 15-minute morning car ride to work. What began as a casual intention has now become one of the most powerful inner journeys I’ve experienced.
The Gita, with its 18 chapters in Sanskrit, Hindi, and English, is not just a religious text—it’s a manual for life, offering clarity, strength, and timeless guidance.
As I read each shloka, I realised something deeply profound:
No management school on earth teaches what Lord Krishna teaches Arjuna.
Not Harvard. Not Stanford. Not even the best MBAs.
On a battlefield of confusion and fear, Krishna teaches the art of right action—with courage, detachment, and surrender. Whether in business or personal life, these lessons are the foundation of leadership and peace.
Scientific research from institutions like Harvard and Stanford confirms it:
Scripture-based reflective reading activates the brain’s prefrontal cortex—boosting judgement, empathy, and resilience.
It reduces stress. It sharpens decisions. It builds a mind that thinks long and lives calmly.
Today, I read it not as a ritual—but as a mirror. A mirror that reflects my doubts, ambitions, and choices—and helps me align them with dharma (righteous action).
I’ve committed to reading it again and again—until its wisdom becomes my karmic DNA, guiding how I lead my company, my family, and my soul.
If there is one book that grows as you grow, let it be the Bhagavad Gita.
It is the wisest mentor I’ve ever met.
