BE A ROSE, NOT A PRISONER OF RESULTS

In life, there is one attitude so powerful that it can’t be suppressed—no matter how often others ignore your efforts, take credit for your work, or try to hold you back.
That attitude is called a growth mindset.
A growth mindset is like an inner fire. It doesn’t rely on external applause, appreciation, or even results. It is rooted in self-growth, self-betterment, and the joy of doing the work itself.
It doesn’t bloom for the world—it blooms because that is its nature.
Let me share a lesson from nature itself.
In my garden, there are rose plants that bloom with incredible beauty, season after season. Right next to them are other plants—lush, green, but unable to produce the same mesmerising flowers. Over time, these neighbouring plants develop a kind of silent envy.
Every few days, the gardener plucks the roses—for decorations, rituals, or gifts. The neighbouring plants, in their jealousy, feel a temporary sense of victory: “The rose has lost all its glory.”
But the rose doesn't mind.
It doesn’t weep over the loss of its blooms. It doesn’t regret that others are enjoying the beauty it created. Instead, it quietly continues its work. Within days, it bursts into another display of fresh, fragrant roses—perhaps even more beautiful than before.
This is the spirit we must adopt.
Keep growing, keep giving, keep blooming—regardless of who takes the credit or what others say. Do your karma with full heart, and let the rest go.
Because no one can stop a tree that is determined to grow.
This is exactly what the Bhagavad Gita teaches through Karma Yoga:
“कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥” You have a right to perform your actions, but not to the fruits of your actions. Do not let the fruits of action be your motive, and do not be attached to inaction.
So be like the rose.
Do your work with joy.Let your beauty speak through action. Let others admire, ignore, or even exploit what you create.
Because in the end, those rooted in purpose will always rise again.
Be the rose. Bloom anyway.
